APPLICATIONS & LEASING

How Do I Apply for an Apartment?
To begin, select your desired apartment on the Floor Plans page and then register for our online application. Then you can review our rental criteria, invite co-applicants, complete your application, and pay your application fees via Credit Card. We try to let you know your application results as quickly as possible, and most applications only take 1-2 business days.
 
Does Centennial at 5th offer Preferred Employer Discounts?
Yes we do! We extend discounts to all active military. Please contact the office to waive your Application Fee and Administrative Fee.
 
What is the Application Fee?
The application is $38 per adult applicant.
 
We also require $87.50 at the time of application to reserve and hold your apartment. This amount is fully-refundable should you wish to cancel your application within 24 hours, or should your application be Denied. When your application is approved, this amount can be put toward your security deposit.
 
How much is the Security Deposit and Administrative Fee?
We require a $200 Administrative Fee at move-in. Once your application is approved, you will have the option of an $87.50 Non-Refundable Security Deposit Waiver or a $300 Fully-Refundable Security Deposit. If your application comes back as Low Accept or Conditional, an additional deposit will be required.
 
Do you accept Co-Signers?
Yes. Co-signers must complete an application and make 5x the monthly rent.
 
What Lease Terms are available?
We offer leases terms from 2-15 months. When your initial lease term expires, you may choose to renew your lease or continue on month-to-month. Please note that rental rates vary by lease term.
 
Does Centennial at 5th offer Furnished Apartments?
No, we do not have furnished apartments available for rent, however we are happy to recommend furniture rental services to you!

 

COMMUNITY POLICIES

What is the Pet Policy?
We are a pet-friendly community. All pets must be accompanied on leashes when walking around property grounds. Guests and residents are responsible for immediately and responsibly cleaning up after their animals. We also require:
 
Maximum of 2 Pets per Home, with a limit of 70 lbs or less
No Puppies or Kittens. Pets must be at least 1 year of age.
$200 Non-Refundable Pet Fee
$200 Fully-Refundable Pet Deposit
$20/month Pet Rent (per Pet)
 
Breed Restrictions apply, and include: Pit Bull, Staffordshire Bull Terrier (American or English), Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chow, German Shepherd, Mastiff (Bull or Cane Corsos), Malamute, Husky, Presa Canario, American Bull Dog, Great Dane, Akita, Wolf Hybrid, and any hybrids, combinations, or mixes of the above.
 
Does the Community require Renter's Insurance?
Yes. All applicants are pre-approved for rental insurance through eRenterPlan. We also accept Rental Insurance with your preferred carrier (many plans will bundle your auto and renter’s insurance), provided the plan meets our minimum requirements. Please contact our office for more information.
 
What is the Parking Policy?
Our controlled-access off-street parking is available on a first come, first served basis. We have shaded carports and some apartments include direct-access garages.
 
How late is the Gym open?
Our gym is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
 
What forms of Rent Payment does Centennial at 5th accept?
We are proud to offer easy online payments. You may access our resident website on a computer or mobile device, or download the RENTCafe app, and pay rent online via your Checking Account (ACH), Credit Card, Debit Card. Please note that paying via ACH online does not incur a convenience fee. Offline, you may pay via a personal check or MoneyGram. We do not accept cash in the office.
 
 

UTILITIES & OTHER MONTHLY FEES

What other Monthly Fees and Utilities should I budget for?
Residents are responsible for all utilities. Your water, sewer, and trash will be billed with rent each month. Residents are responsible to pay electric directly to NV Energy. Resident may choose their preferred provider for phone, internet, and cable however we do recommend Cox.
 
Note: If you have any budget concerns, please let us know so we can find the best apartment to fit your needs. We want you to feel confident in your rental decision and to live comfortably in their new home.
 

OTHER INFORMATION

What is the School District?
Our apartments are located in the well-regarded Clark County School District. In the Clark County School District (CCSD), students are assigned to a school in their local neighborhood, but may apply to transfer to another school in the district if desired. Does Centennial at 5th recycle?
Yes we do. We have several trash and recycling locations throughout the community.
 
Are there Resident Events where I can meet neighbors?
You bet! Our community has monthly residents events. We hope to see you there!
